Gaon Welfare Trust reaches out to over 10,000 older persons annually through its dedicated volunteers. Partnering with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on projects related to senior citizens' care under NITI Aayog, the trust is committed to enhancing the lives of the elderly. One of its significant initiatives is the old age home in Anguthi Village, Agra, where all necessary facilities are provided to ensure that seniors can live with pride and dignity.

The increasing number of elderly people living alone in India is alarming, affecting both urban and rural areas. Approximately 65% of elderly individuals in India face financial hardships and rely on others for support. In rural regions, the situation is particularly dire due to family disputes, property issues, and limited access to medical facilities for age-related ailments.

The Guardian Angels of Nation Educational & Welfare Trust, a non-profit organization established in 2018 and registered under the Indian Trust Act of 1882, is devoted to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged older persons.
