When Tara Sansthan began organizing eye camps in remote villages, it became evident that many impoverished and helpless elderly individuals lacked any support. In response, Tara Sansthan decided to open an old age home for destitute, lonely, and helpless seniors who either have no family or are mistreated by their relatives. Thus, AnandVruddhashram was established just three months after the opening of Tara Sansthan's first eye hospital. On February 3, 2012, the old age home began providing free accommodation, food, clothing, medical care, entertainment, and a homely atmosphere for these elderly individuals. Although the initiative did not attract many villagers, it drew significant interest from upper middle-class urbanites.

AnandVruddhashram in Udaipur started with 45 beds and has since expanded to a spacious new facility for 150 senior citizens, which opened in April 2018 and September 2022, respectively. Additionally, there is a 15-bed facility in Prayagraj.

Tara Sansthan, founded in 2011 by Mrs. Kalpana Goyal, daughter of Shree Kailash Manav, the founder of Narayan Sewa Sansthan (Trust), Udaipur, is dedicated to serving the poor and suffering. Its humanitarian activities include providing accommodation (16 beds), food, and healthcare.

After her husband's death, Smt. Raman Gaur wished to build an old age home in his memory. She reached out to Tara Sansthan and offered her property along with the necessary financial support to realize her dream. On November 21, 2016, her vision came to fruition with the inauguration of RavindraNath Gaur AnandVruddhashram in Prayagraj.
